lubrication services. We will be located at Bwebajja along Kampala- Entebbe road serving the communities around. Our mechanical garage shop will be seeking applicants for two Tire and Lubricant technician positions to work with our technical team.

Skills of a Tire Technician:
Tire technicians typically work in car dealerships or car bonds and automotive repair shops to inspect, replace, install, and repair tires on trucks, cars, and other vehicles. They tend to work alongside the mechanics to ensure that tires are reliable and safe and work with other car systems. To be qualified for this position, you should be very attentive to details as you typically will examine for signs of tire failure and wear. Tire technicians are also responsible for giving recommendations to customers about tire care and replacement. In addition to this, they can also inspect various fluid levels and change them where necessary.

The Role:
We are currently an entry-level tire technician position. The role is designed for those who love physical labor and a path to multiple technician positions in the transportation maintenance industry.

Qualifications:
Advanced Level Certificate of Education, Certificate in Automotive Mechanics, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to operate a computer-based maintenance tracking system and able to interpret a diagnostic code system. Basic math calculations and possibly a valid driver's license. Must be able to perform in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Functions:
Perform Professional Maintenance services on tires, including rotation, balancing, and repairs. Mounting and dismounting tires and wheels. Inspect tire casings for defects such as holes or tears, and patch or replace them as needed. Participate in training, and follow safety procedures, job duties, and company policies: strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. Maintain an organized and neat shop/storage area.

Physical Demands:
Maneuvering around in, on, and under vehicle spaces. Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements and using a hand to handle, control, or feel. Lift and carry up to 25 kg.

Starting Period:
