About This Job:Q Sourcing is an East African human resource consulting and outsourcing company, combining unparalleled experience and expertise across business functions.Our client is a leading player in the East African motor industry with exclusive distribution of Ford, Mazda, Volkswagen, Suzuki, Maruti, Nissan Diesel and MAN range of trucks (medium and heavy commercial) and buses, Iveco, Bobcat, New Holland and Case tractors and an extensive range of farming implements from ploughs through to irrigation equipment with seven branches countrywide and six Divisions at Head Quarters in Nairobi. With its two sister companies in both Uganda and Tanzania, the client has by far the largest distribution network in East Africa for sales, parts and service.They are looking for a Sales Manager between the age of 28 - 45 years of age.MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo formulate car (new) sales policy.To maximize sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers to meet sales forecast.To develop the necessary sales to meet sales and profitability objectives of the Company.To ensure optimum stock of cars on premises and/or on order.To ensure cost control to budget within department.RELATIONSHIPS AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIESDirectly responsible to: - Country Manager, Group Sales Manager.Responsible for:- Sales Executives, Showroom Receptionist, Sales Administrator.Relationships with: - Other Company Managers, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Body shop Manager, Manufacturer's Suppliers and other Representatives.Main Tasks:OBJECTIVES AND KEY TASKSImproved Profitability:-To ensure sales/profit forecasts are achieved by attaining the agreed sales/profit targets.To improve customer satisfactionTo manage the budget and cost control of the DepartmentKey Qualifications/ExperienceMinimum of a Business related degree from a recognized institution.Proven knowledge and experience in Sales management and marketing skills.Ability to manage and administer a department, to provide organisation, systems and leadership.Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation and of trade practices.Able to motivate a sales team to achieve objectives.Sales qualification, technical qualifications an added advantage.CompetenciesGood command of English language and other local languagesInter personal and communication skills.Good Negotiation skills.Application ProceedureOnly candidates who meet the minimum criteria outlined as above are invited to send a comprehensive CV by e-mail to :Kindly mark your application as "Application_Sales Manager" in the subject line of your email.The applications should reach the above address by 5:00 pm on 31st October 2014.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
