The 3-S dealership with sales, service and showroom facilities had a mandate to promote and manage the Nissan brand in the Entebbe area. By mid 2006, the Entebbe market was saturated and as part of the growth strategy it was decided to expand our product and geographical mandate. We sourced for brands that would bring value for money to our market, and entered into distributor agreements with manufacturers in China and Thailand.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for implementing sales plan and supervise sales staff.Initiative contact with collaborators in order to establish & communicate objectives & strategies of Motor center East Africa Limited as a partner of choice for motor vehiclesEvaluate and motivate sales staff; and ensure information & knowledge to the team is internalized.Analyze, plan and control established formal control & supervision procedures (for the sales team); and establish formal procedures for sales management, analysis, and numeric reasoningMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professionalCommunicate and consult with the sales team on decision makingNegotiation and closing: clarified objectives, predefined strategy, communication abilities, etc.Coordinate with other areas and departments of the dealershipEstablishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.Implement marketing strategies from analyzing trends and research results.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:The applicant should possess a Business degree or related degree from a recognized universityAt least three years’ experience in salesExcellent analytical, planning, negotiation and implementation skillsHighly self-driven dynamic personalityGood at PowerPoint, excel and can quickly adapt to available sales management software.Professional qualification in sales and marketing an added advantageAbility to Sell to Customer Needs
